Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1968 ) of their original album, comin' with an insert ( English lyric sheet ). Title logo on the front cover is in blue, different from any other countries’ copy. Back side is with “Japanese liner notes” which is also different.

In addition, this album consists of tracks of Simon and Garfunkel ( only Side A-1~3 are from their Original Sound Track album “Graduate” ), being different from other countries’ copies ( See the track-list below ). Though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find Japanese copy of this album even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Side A: The sounds of silence, Mrs. Robinson, Scarborough fair / Canticle ( interlude ), Homeward bound, I am a rock, The 59th street bridge song

Side B: Bookends theme – safe the life of my child, America, Fakin’ it, A hazy shade of winter, At the zoo, The dangling coversation


Condition: G/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is lightly worn on the corners & right-edge. It’s stained with brown spots on the surface of front & back ( mostly back side ). Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has a short couple of scratches at the start of Side A. A few slight scuffs are on each side with a few light scratches on Side B. There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as "VG+". Flaws are not many but just only a few to several on each side.

OBI: Missing.

INSERT: G+, being lightly rippled with brown spots in places on each side.

INNER SLEEVE: G, being browned around the rims of each side.
