Description: This is scarce Japan Only compilation album ( released in 1965 ) of Chet Atkins, coming with very rare original obi. This album includes 14 tracks ( See the track-list below ). The cover is flipped back in the top & bottom-rims, showing “Japanese liner notes” and “the track-list”. According to ad on obi & liner notes, this album was specially issued only in Japan to commemorate his visit to Japan for “Pop and Country Festival”. It's hard to find this item even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Side A: Country gentleman, Begin the beguine, Yellow bird, Delicado, Peanut vendor, Siboney, Maria Elena

Side B: Wheels, Rainbow, Whispering, In a little Spanish town, Theme from “Come September”, Hot mocking bird, Vaya con dios


Condition: VG/EX ( Cover / Disc)


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners & right-edge. It’s lightly rippled with ring-crease on the surface of each side, while being lightly tanned on that of back side. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip, stain & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on Side A and a few on Side B. There’re a few spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "EX”.

OBI: VG, being lightly tanned on the surface of back. A supply-tag is still in the top of back.

INSERT: Not included. But it seems that it was not originally issued for this album.
