Description: This is scarce Japan PROMO ONLY compilation album ( released in 1986 ) of Bruce Springsteen. OBI & INSERT were not originally issued for this album, because it was made only for promotional use. This album was made as "Special DJ COPY", printed on the back, and released only in Japan beforehand of "LIVE 1975-85 5LP BOX". The back cover shows “Liner notes (in Japanese)", "Track-list for 5LP BOX" & "Track-list for this album". Each label of disc is printed as “FOR PROMOTION ONLY” ( See photo ).

The track-list on the back cover is partly misprinted. On Side B, the correct order is “Born to run, War, Thunder road”, though this copy is misprinted as “Thunder road, War, Born to run” ( See photos ). Then the 2nd press is corrected with a sticker over misprinted track-list. Anyway, it’s very hard to find this album even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G+/NM- ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is lightly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s lightly scraped with light ring-wear on the surface of front & back. A strip-mark is on upper portion of back side. Handwritten “arrow” is on the misprinted track-list, which is partly scraped and
erased ( See photo ). Otherwise it has no tear, dent & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There are a few to several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". Though there’s faint mark on the surface of Side B, it’s not flaw but just “misprint”. Anyway, no flaw on the groove…very clean disc, we guarantee you.
