Description: This is scarce Japanese Audiophile Edition copy ( released in 1984 ) of their masterpiece album, coming with rare appendices. AD on obi reads “Digital Mastering” in its upper portion, while “MASTER SOUND” letters are printed on obi, inner-bag & each label of disc. The enclosed postcard was issued for promotional use. A rare sticker- sheet was issued in limited number for its 1st press. The right bottom rim of sticker sheet is with the text “NOT FOR SALE EPIC/SONY INC”.

This outer vinyl cover was officially issued for promotional use only for the same album. It shows its Epic logo & its Cat. Number ( LP 28 3P-511 EPIC/SONY INC NOT FOR SALE …See photo ). It houses the gate-fold cover with the top-flap flipped back. “LP 28 3P-511” is just for promotional but not master sound edition. Anyway, we present it with this copy . It’s hard to find Japanese audiophile copy of this album even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: VG/EX- ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for lightly worn corners, bottom & right-edge. Brown spot are on the left-rim & center fold inside gate-fold. It’s clean outside. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuff marks in part on Side B ( but none on Side A ). There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "EX-". No flaw on the groove of Side A.

OBI: VG, being lightly scraped on the surface of front, while being lightly rippled on that of back side.

BOOKLET: G+, being creased in places with minor spots on the surface of outside pages and lightly inside pages.

INNER-BAG: G+, being rippled with ring-crease and brown spots on the surface of each side.

POSTCARD: G+, being tanned in part on the surface of each side.

STICKER-SHEET: VG, being rippled on its surface of each side. The left top corner is creased. A tiny tear is on the left top-rim of front. Stickers themselves are still unused.

OUTER VINYL COVER: VG+, being rippled and lightly scraped on the surface of each side. Otherwise no tear or split on outer-edges.
