Description: This is scarce Japanese Audiophile Edition copy ( released in 1984 ) of their 2nd album, coming with rare appendices. AD on obi reads “Digital Mastering” in its upper portion, while “MASTER SOUND” letters are printed on obi & each label of disc. The cover is still in the “shrink-wrap”, which is open at the right-edge. Booklet is with “Japanese liner notes”, “English & Japanese lyrics” and “Photos of Wham!”.

What’s interesting is an enclosed “plastic sheet”, which shows colorful photo of Wham! on the front & back ( See photos ). “EPIC / SONY INC. NOT FOR SALE” text is in the right bottom corner. It seems to have been issued in limited number by Epic for promotional purpose. It’s very hard to find Japanese audiophile copy of this album with a photo plastic sheet even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: EX+/EX- ( Outer Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is nearly TOP in condition, except for slightly worn right-edge. It’s still in the “shrink-wrap”, which is open at the right-edge. It’s clean in each side. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip, stain & writing...great in shape.

DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. A scratch is on Side B-3 ( inaudible ). There are a few spindle-marks on the label of Side B. Otherwise it has none of any scuff & hairline, which is to be rated as “EX-”. No flaw on the groove of Side A and mostly on Side B. A scratch on Side B-3 ( inaudible ) is only flaw on the groove.

OBI: M, being still kept intact in the shrink-wrap.

BOOKLET: EX.

DIE-CUT SLEEVE: VG, being stained with some brown spots in part on each side.

INSERT ( Master Sound ): Missing.
