Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY compilation album ( released in 1969 ) of Jay & the American, comin' with an insert ( lyric sheet ). The cover is flipped back in its top & bottom-rims, showing “Japanese liner notes” and “the track-list” on the back. This album includes 14 tracks. Image of front cover is from their original album “Livin' Above Your Head”.
“SAMPLE” letters in Japanese are stamped on the label of Side A ( See photo ). Though obi is missing, it’s still very hard to find this item even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: When you dance, This magic movement, Moon river, My claire de lune, Let’s lock the door, Kansas city, My prayer
Side B: Mean woman blues, Hushbye, She cried, Come a little bit closer, Cara Mia, Only in America, Some enchanted evening
Condition: VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners, right-edge & lightly other outer-edges. It’s lightly tanned on the surface of each side, while being lightly rippled with ring-crease on that of each side. Short creases are around the rims of each side. Otherwise it has no tear, strip, dent & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs in part on each side. A slight scratch is on Side B-2~3 ( inaudible ). There’re several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG+". All flaws are so slight that it plays strong on each side.
OBI: Missing.
INSERT: G, being tanned with some brown stain-marks on the surface of each side.
