Jefferson Airplane / Golden Album
Japan ONLY LP
Victor SRA 5121
Appendices: "Laminated G/F Cover” & “Marble Disc”
( OBI is missing / INSERT is not enclosed )
Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY compilation album ( released in 1968 ) of Jefferson Airplane, coming with very rare marble disc. This album was issued with very rare and beautiful marble disc for its 1st press ( 2nd press is black vinyl ). Though the insert is not enclosed in this copy, it’s not sure if it was originally issued for this item. Because thick gate-fold cover shows inside “Japanese liner notes” & “English lyrics”. 14 tracks are included ( See the track-list below ). Though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find this item even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Somebody to love, White rabbit, She has funny cars, The ballad of you & me & pooneil, Watch her ride, Martha, Two heads
Side B: My best friend, How do you feel, Blues from an airplane, Tobacco road, It’s no secret, Let’s get together, Bringing me down
Condition: VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners & outer edges. It’s lightly scraped on the surface of outside, while being lightly tanned and stained around the rims inside gate-fold. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has a few slight scuffs on each side with several minor scratches on Side B. It makes a few minor clicks at Side B-4 & 5, though it plays fine on Side A and totally Side B. There are spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG+".
OBI: Missing.
INSERT: INSERT is not enclosed in this item. But it’s not sure if it was originally issued for this item.
