Description: This is scarce Japanese original LIVE & STUDIO 12” PROMO copy ( released in 1980 ) of Iron Maiden, coming with complete appendices. 3 tracks ( Side A & B-1 ) of this mini album was recorded live at Marquee club, England on July 1980. And Side B-2 is studio recorded track.

A “SAMPLE ( in Japanese )” white sticker is on the top-rim of front-obi and bottom-rim of back cover ( See photos ). And the label of disc is beautiful in white for promotional use.

What’s interesting is the “misprint” in the back cover. The right bottom corner of back cover reads “Play Roud”, which should be “Play Loud” ( See photo ). This misprint cover is the true initial press. It was replaced with corrected “Play Loud” cover version, shortly after it was noticed by EMI Japan. Anyway, it’s very hard to find Japanese promo copy of Iron Maiden even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G/M ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is lightly worn on the corners & outer edges. It’s lightly scraped with ring-wear on the surface of each side. A few minor creases are on the spine-rims. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip, stain & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is TOP in condition, keeping glossy. It has none of any scuff, scratch, hairline & spindle-mark on each label, which can be rated as "MINT". No flaw on the groove & label …very clean disc, we guarantee you.

OBI: VG, being lightly stained with minor brown spots on the surface of back, while being lightly creased along its upper left-rim. Bottom-flap of back side is creased.

INSERT: VG+, being lightly tanned on the surface of each side.
