Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1969 ) of their masterpiece double-album. Both discs are rare red waxes, issued only for its 1st press ( no odeon copy exists for Japanese copy ). "The Beatles" logo is embossed in lower portion of front cover. Though obi & insert are missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red wax even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: G+/VG/EX ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )


COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s lightly stained and tanned with light ring-wear on each side. A short tear and crease are in upper left-rim of back side. Otherwise it has no dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC 1: Disc 1 is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs in part on Side B and a few on Side A. There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch, which is to be “VG”.

DISC 2: Disc 2 is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has a few slight scuffs on each side. A slight scratch is on Side A-6~7 ( inaudible ). There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be “EX”.

OBI: Missing.

INSERT: Missing.

POSTER: POOR, being split along folding creases to pieces ( See photos ). Each piece is lightly tanned with brown spots on its surfaces.

PIN-UP: G+ ( used ) each. Each one is with a pin-hole at top corners. Each one is lightly tanned with brown spots on its surfaces.

INNER SLEEVES: G each, being creased with ring-crease on its surface of each side. A few short tears are in the rims of die-cut circle.
