Description: This is extremely rare Japan “PROMO ONLY Picture Disc” copy ( released in 1981 ) of AC/DC, coming with an ultra rare original yellow flyer. The disc is beautiful colorful picture one, housed in PVC outer-cover.
Though there's limited edition counterfeit of this album, it’s easy to prove that this copy is the genuine original one. Clear difference between genuine copy and counterfeit is:
1. Original picture disc uses clear vinyl with clear outer-rim, though counterfeit uses black vinyl with black outer-rim ( See photo…the rim is clear ).
2. Original copy has stamped matrix on the run-out groove of “PS – 180 – 1 ( Side A ) / PS – 180 – 2 ( Side B )”, the counterfeit has no matrix on the run-out groove.
3. The counterfeit copy’s PVC cover has a white sticker, showing a serial number of limited edition, but original copy does not have it.
This original copy includes 12 tracks ( See the track-list below ). It’s very hard to find this item in complete shape even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Back in black, Shake a leg, Let me put my love into you, You shook me all night long, Shoot to thrill, Hells bells
Side B: Highway to hell, Beating around the bush, Touch too much, Riff raff, Hell ain7t a bad place to be, Whole Lotta Rosie
Condition: VG/VG+ ( Vinyl Outer Cover / Disc )
PVC OUTER COVER: It’s generally aged & waving with light stain-marks on the surface of each side. This copy had been long in the bookshelf, which makes it shrink. Though I put the disc out of PVC cover to inspect, it may be hard to put it back into the PVC cover.
Otherwise it has no tear, edge-wear, strip & writing…OK
DISC: Disc is good in condition. It has light stain-marks on the surface in part on each side, as usual with this album. Otherwise it has no scuff, scratch, hairline & spindle-mark on each label, which is to be rated as “VG+”. The stain-marks on the surfaces are from aging.
