Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY compilation album ( released in the middle of 1970’s ) of Eddie Cleanhead Vinson & Jimmy Witherspoon, coming with complete appendices. The label of disc is in white for promotional use. This album includes 12 tracks ( See the track-list below ), which seems to have been issued only in Japan. The back cover shows “Japanese liner notes” & “the track-list”, while the insert shows “English & Japanese lyrics”. It’s hard to find this item even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A ( Eddie Vinson ): Cherry red, Cadillac blues, Juice head baby, Somebody’s got to go, Flat broke blues, Workin’ blues, Wee baby blues
Side B ( Jimmy Witherspoon ): I don’t know, No rolling blues, Going down slow, Pay the consequence, Blow wind blow
Condition: G+/EX+ ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s lightly scraped and stained with minor brown spots in places on the surface of each side. Light ring-wear is also on the front & back. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. A short light scuff is on Side A-1. There are brown spots in places on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "EX+". No flaw on the groove of Side B and mostly on Side A…clean disc, we guarantee you.
OBI: G, being tanned and stained on the surface of back side, while being ragged along its side edges ( See photos ). It’s torn along the top-edge & short the bottom-edge.
INSERT: VG, being lightly tanned with a few minor brown spots on the surface of each side.
