Shocking Blue / Same Title
Japan Orig. LP
Polydor MP 2099 Nippon Grammophon
Appendices: "Original OBI” & “G/F Different Cover"
( INSERT is NOT originally issued )
Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1970 ) of their 1st original album, coming with very rare original obi. Their 1st album was not released in Japan until 1970. Gate-fold cover is different in artwork in each side, showing inside "Japanese liner notes" & "English lyrics". It seems that the insert was not originally issued for this album.
Not only cover’s artwork, track-list order of Side A is also different from Dutch copy ( See the track-list below ). It’s very hard to find this item with original obi even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Love is in the air, Ooh wee there’s music in me, What you gonna do, Little Maggie, Jail my second home, What’s wrong Bertha
Side B: Rockin’ Pneumonia and the boogie woogie, That’s alright, Crazy drunken man dreams, Beggarman, Hold me hug me rock me, Where my baby’s gone
Condition: VG/NM- ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for vertically creased spine-edge. It’s stained along the side-rims inside gate-fold, while being discolored along the left-rim of back side. Otherwise it has none of any tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, we guarantee you.
OBI: G, being mostly torn along the bottom-edge. Surface of back side is slightly scraped and stained. A supply-tag is still attached to the bottom of back.
INSERT: NOT included. It seems that it was not originally issued for this item.
