Description: This is scarce Japanese PROMO copy ( released in 1981 ) of Quincy Jones’s live album. This album was recorded live at Budokan, Tokyo, Japan on Jul.9 which was released only in Japan. This promo copy is different in artwork of cover from ordinary copy.

A “SAMPLE ( in Japanese )” red sticker is on the right top-rim of front cover, while the label of disc is beautiful in white for promotional use. OBI was not originally issued for this edition. It’s hard to find promo copy of this album even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Side A: Introduction – Roots mural theme, Ironside, Just once, Razzamatazz, Manteca

Condition: EX-/NM ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is excellent in condition, except for lightly worn corners, top & right-edge. Several minor brown spots are on lower right-rim and a few on the left bottom-rim on the back side. Front side is clean. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There’s a tiny spindle-mark on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, we guarantee you.

OBI: NOT originally issued for this edition.

INSERT: VG, being lightly tanned along the center-fold inside pages.
