Eric Clapton / Portrait of
Japan ONLY LP
RSO MW 5005
Appendices: “Portrait Cover" & “Insert”
( FRONT-PANEL & OBI are missing )
Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY album ( released in 1973 ) of Eric Clapton, comin' with very unique "Portrait-Cover". As title indicates, the front-cover is just like "portrait" of Eric Clapton w/ Ron Wood, with the rims higher than inside ( See photo ). It's like a framed picture. Have you ever seen such an unique cover for Eric Clapton ? Though obi & front-panel ( as usual with this album ) are missing, it still remains rare even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Told you for the last time, Don’t know why, Have you ever loved a woman, Nobody knows you where you’re down and out
Side B: Lovin’ you lovin’ me, Tell the truth, Bad boy, Bell bottom blues
Condition: VG/VG ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners & outer-edges. It’s scraped & stained on the surface of back and around rims of front. Picture on the front has some scratches on its surface. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, strip, dent & writing...OK. Front-panel is missing.
DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has some slight scuffs including slight scratches on each side. A scratch is on Side A-1~2 and B-1~2 ( inaudible ). There’re some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as "VG". Though minor noise can be heard between tracks, it plays strong on each track.
OBI: OBI is missing.
INSERT: VG, being creased with minor spots on the surface of each side.
