Description: This is scarce Japanese Edition PROMO copy ( released in 1979 ) of US version of their 1st album, coming with a free single 7”. The enclosed 7” single is “Gates of the West / Groovy times”. Original cover is housed in wrap-around cover obi. 15 tracks are included in the LP, the same as US copy.

“SAMPLE” letters are printed in Japanese on each label of LP and 7” ( See photos ). Enclosed another insert ( promo sheet ) was issued only for promotional purpose, showing “Japanese texts”, “Front cover” & “Photo of members”.

It’s hard to find Japanese promo copy of this album even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: EX+/NM- ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is excellent in condition, except for lightly worn spine & right-edge. It’s clean on each side. Otherwise it no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip, stain & writing...fine in shape.

DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There are a few to several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, we guarantee you.

OBI ( WRAP-AROUND COVER ): VG, being torn off in the right bottom corner and the bottom-edge is partly worn. It’s clean on the front & back.

FOLD-OUT INSERT: VG+, being lightly tanned on the surface of white page.

PROMO SHEET: VG, being rippled and lightly tanned around the rims of each side.

FREE 7”: M. It’s clean and glossy on each side, free from any scuff, scratch, hairline & spindle-mark on the label, which can be rated as “MINT”.
