Description: This is Apple edition 1st Press copy ( released in 1969 ) of Japanese album "With the Beatles" ( originally issued to commemorate their 1966 Japan tour ). The disc is beautiful red wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese line notes", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage".

The price on the back cover and front obi are crossed out. It’s very hard to find this album with obi & red wax even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for lightly worn corners & right-edge. Short creases are around the rims of front & back. It’s lightly scraped on the surface of outside. Ring-wear is on the back, as usual with this album. Each page of booklet inside gate-fold is slightly tanned around its rims. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip, stain & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has some slight scuffs on the “music surface” of each side, though more scuffs on each “inner-groove” ( no music surface ). A few light scuff lines are on Side A. There’re some spindle-marks with some minor brown spots on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch, which is to be rated as "VG+". All flaws are so slight that it plays fine on each side.

OBI: VG, being creased in the middle of front. The price on the bottom-rim of front side is crossed out. A supply-tag in the top of back is stripped off ( missing ).

INSERT: Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover.

INNER SLEEVE: G+, being creased in each corner. A short tear is in the rim of die-cut circle.
