Appendices: "Original OBI”, “Misprint Cover” & “Insert"

Description: This is scarce Japanese original LIVE & STUDIO 12” copy ( released in 1980 ) of Iron Maiden, coming with complete appendices. 3 tracks ( Side A & B-1 ) of this mini album was recorded live at Marquee club, England on July 1980. And Side B-2 is studio recorded track.

What’s interesting is the “misprint” in the back cover. The right bottom corner of back cover reads “Play Roud”, which should be “Play Loud” ( See photo ). This misprint cover is the true initial press. It was replaced with corrected “Play Loud” cover version, shortly after it was noticed by EMI Japan. Anyway, it’s very hard to find Japanese copy of Iron Maiden even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: VG+/NM- ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for slightly worn corners & outer edges. Slight ring-wear is on upper portion of front & lower portion of back. A few minor creases are on the spine-rims. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip, stain & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There are a few spindle-marks with minor spots on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, we guarantee you.

OBI: G+, being stained with minor brown spots on the surface of back, while being partly creased with short tears in the right-rim & left bottom corner of back side. The bottom-flap of back side is also creased.

INSERT: G, being tanned along the left-rim back side. A tiny tear is in the right top-rim.
