Description: This is rare original Japan Tour Edition copy ( released in 1966 ) of Beatles “Please Please Me” to commemorate their Japan Tour. The cover is different from UK copy, while the disc is odeon red wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead colorful booklet is inlayed inside gate-fold cover, but half pages are gone ( stripped off and missing ). Though obi & inner bag are missing, it’s still hard to find this copy with red wax in any condition even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G/VG ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is worn on the corners & outer-edges with upper & lower spine-edge split short. It’s scraped on the surface of outside. An oblique crease is in the right bottom hand of front. A small strip-mark is in lower left-rim & right bottom corner of back side. Booklet originally inlayed inside gate-fold is losing the first 4 pages ( the rest of 4 pages still remains ). Remaining pages of booklet are stained with brown spots on its upper portions ( See photo ). Otherwise it has no tear, dent & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs in places with a few minor scratches on each side. There are many spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG”.

OBI: Missing.
