Appendices: "Red & White OBI”, “Thin F/B Cover” & "Insert"

Description: This is scarce Japan Only compilation album ( released in 1965 ) of Connie Francis, comin' with complete appendices. The cover is thin with its top & bottom rims flipped back. It’s with “Japanese liner notes” & “the track-list” on the back side, while the insert is with “English lyrics”. The price sticker on the back cover is JPY1750, but no price on the obi.

OBI is in red with white rims and black text, which is different from ordinary one. Black text reads in Japanese as “Japan Tour Memorial Album”. It seems that this obi was issued in limited number for commemoration of her Japan tour in 1965. It doesn’t appear even in Discogs.

Anyway, it’s hard to find this album in complete appendices even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for lightly worn corners & right-edge. It’s lightly tanned with minor brown spots along the right-edge rims. There’re minor creases around the rims of front. Slight ring-crease is on the front. The back side is slightly tanned for aging. Scraped handwritten date is on the bottom-rim of back side. Otherwise it has none of any tear, dent, strip...OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs with a few minor scratches ( inaudible ) on each side. There’re some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as “VG+”.

OBI: G, being stained with brown spots on the surface of back side and around the rims of front. The top-edge is split.

INSERT: VG, being lightly tanned on the surface of each side. Brown spots are around the rims.
