Love Sculpture / Blues Helping
Japan Orig. LP
Odeon OP - 8659
Appendices: “Different Cover ( back side )” & “Red Wax”( OBI & INSERT are missing )
Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1969 ) of their only album, coming with red wax. Short lived British blues rock band “Love Sculpture” which was formed by Dave Edmunds released this album as debut album in 1969. Japanese copy which rarely surfaces in the market was issued with beautiful red wax.
Back cover is with “Japanese liner notes”, different from any other countries copy. And sky blue logo reading “ ’69 NEW ROCK SERIES” is in the left bottom corner of front cover.
Disc is very rare red wax, issued only for its 1st press. Though obi & insert are missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red wax even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Condition: G/EX- ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is partly worn on corners & outer edges, while being split nearly half of top-edge ( but fixed ). It’s stained with brown spots on the surface of each side ( mostly on the back ). Otherwise it has no ring-wear, dent, strip & writing…OK.
DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has a couple of live scratches on Side A-1 & A-2. There’re some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff & hairline, which is to be rated as “EX-". No flaw on the groove of Side B.
OBI: Missing.
INSERT: Missing.
