CBS SOPO 48
Appendices: "Original OBI” & “Fold-Out Insert”
( COMPANY SLEEVE is NOT included )
Description: This is scarce Japan ONLY compilation album ( released in 1975 ) of Janis Joplin, coming with rare appendices. A fold-out insert is with “Japanese liner notes”, “English lyrics” and “Photos of Janis”. A company sleeve which was issued for some early copies is not included. It’s hard to find this item even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Bye bye baby, Combination of the two, Piece of my heart, Turtle blues, Summertime, Try, Maybe
Side B: Kozmic blues, Move over, Me and Bobby Mcgee, Half moon, Get it while you can, Ball and chain
Condition: EX+/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is excellent in condition, except for lightly worn lower right-edge and right bottom corner. A few tiny dents are on the top-edge. It’s clean in each side. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, dent, strip, stain & writing...fine in shape.
DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. A short light scratch is on Side A-1 ( inaudible ). And a slight hairline and a slight scuff are on Side B. Though there’re slight marks like paper-scuff on the surface of each side, they seem “misprint” made originally when it was pressed in the factory. There’re a few spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as “VG+". It plays fine in each side.
OBI: EX
INSERT: G+, being partly creased with brown spots on the surface of each side.
COMPANY SLEEVE: Not included.
