Description: This is scarce Japanese very early press copy ( released in 1968 ) of their 1st album, comin' with a lyric insert. The back-cover shows “Japanese description”, “the track-list” & “English lyrics”. And the front-cover is also different from UK copy. “Nippon Grammophon” letters are printed on the bottom-rim of back-cover, insert and label of disc.

The cat number of disc is rare “SLPM ( very rare 1st press )”, while that of cover & insert is “SMP ( Early press )”. So this copy is very early press, changing from its 1st press to early 2nd press with the disc as the same as 1st press ( See photo ). It seems after this edition, the 2nd press was released with “SMP” on the cover and disc.

Anyway, though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find this item even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: VG+/NM ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners, top & right-edge. There’s light stain-marks in places on the surface of first. Otherwise it has no tear, ring-wear, strip, dent & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. There are a few spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as "NM". No flaw on the groove…very clean disc, we guarantee you.

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: VG, being slightly discolored on the surface of each side. Spots are in lower right rim of front, and left bottom corner of back.
