Description: This is Apple Edition 1st Press copy ( released in 1969 ) of Japan only-album "Please Please Me" ( originally issued to commemorate their 1966 Japan tour ). Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead the 8 page colorful booklet is originally inlayed inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese liner notes", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". It’s hard to find this copy even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G+/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is lightly worn on corners & outer edges. It’s lightly scraped and rippled with light ring-wear on the surface of outside, while being stained with brown spots around rims of each side. Booklet inside gate-fold is lightly rippled, scraped and stained. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuff marks in part on Side A and a few slight ones on Side B. A short slight scratch is on Side B-3 ( inaudible ). There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as "VG+".

OBI: G, being creased with a tear along lower right-rim of front. Right bottom-edge is also partly torn. Back surface is lightly stained for aging. A supply-tag is still in the top of back.

INSERT: Insert is NOT originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is originally inlayed inside gate-fold cover.

DIE-CUT INNER SLEEVE: VG, being lightly creased with ring-crease on the surface of each side. Otherwise no tear or split on outer edges.
