Description: This is Apple edition 1st Press copy ( released in 1969 ) of Japanese album "With the Beatles" ( originally issued to commemorate their 1966 Japan tour ). The disc is beautiful red wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese line notes", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage".

The price on the back cover and front obi are crossed out. It’s very hard to find this album with obi & red wax even in our country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: VG/EX- ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners, right-edge & lightly other outer edges. Short creases are around the rims of front & back. It’s lightly scraped with minor scratches on the surface of outside. Light ring-wear is on the back, as usual with this album. Each page of booklet inside gate-fold is lightly scraped and rippled with minor stain-marks for aging. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on each side ( music surface ) with a light scratch on Side B-5~7 ( inaudible ). There’re several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as "EX-". Though there’re scuffs on each “inner groove”, they are not music surface and don’t affect the sound.

OBI: G, being partly torn with tape-stains in the top-edge and the middle of right-rim of front side. Back surface is stained with minor brown spots on the surface of back side. A supply-tag is still in the top of back.

INSERT: Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover.

INNER SLEEVE: VG, being rippled with ring-crease on the surface of each side.
