Description: This is rare original Odeon copy ( released in 1966 ) of Beatles’ “Please Please Me” to commemorate their Japan Tour. The cover is different from UK copy, while the disc is odeon red-wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead 8 page colorful booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". Though obi is missing, it’s still hard to find this copy with red-wax in any condition even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G+/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s scraped with some scratches & ring-wear on the surface of outside. The booklet inside gate-fold is lightly scraped & creased with minor stain-marks on its surfaces. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs in part on each side. There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "VG+”.

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: INSERT is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover.

INNER-BAG: G, being creased on its surfaces of each side, with the bottom-edge & upper side-edge partly split.
