Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1960's ) of their masterpiece double-album. Both discs are rare red waxes, issued only for its 1st pressing ( no odeon copy exists for Japanese copy ). "The Beatles" logo is embossed in lower portion of front-cover. Though obi, insert & 3 pin-ups ( all but John ) are missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red wax even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: G+/VG/EX- ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )


COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s stained with ring-wear on the surface of each side ( See photos ). Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC 1: Disc 1 is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight record cleaner-residue mark on the surface of each side. Of course, these marks don’t affect the sound. A scrape line is in Side A-1~4, with a light scratch on Side B-1 ( inaudible each ). There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG". Flaws are not many but just a few on each side.

DISC 2: Disc 2 is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight record cleaner-residue mark on the surface of Side B. Of course, these marks don’t affect the sound. Three light scratches are on Side A ( inaudible each ). There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "EX-".

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: INSERT is missing.

POSTER: G+, being aged, creased & stained on the surface of each side. Outer-edges are worn with short split along the folding creases.

PIN-UP: VG each. All pin-ups are still unused. Each one is lightly stained on the white rims of front, and tanned on the blank side.

INNER-BAGS: VG/G+ each, being creased with ring-crease on its surface of each side. Outer-edges are worn. It’s torn short in the rim of die-cut circle in one of them.
