Description: This is Apple edition copy ( released in early 1970’s ) of Japan only-album "Please Please Me" ( originally issued to commemorate their 1966 Japan tour ). Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead the 8 page colorful booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". It’s hard to find this copy even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.
Side A: Please please me, Anna, I saw her standing there, Boys, Misery, Chains, Ask me why
Side B: Twist and shout, A taste of honey, Love me do, Do you want to know a secret, Baby it’s you, There’s a place, PS I love you
Condition: VG/EX ( Cover / Disc )
COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for light brown spots around the rims of front & back. It’s lightly scraped with light ring-wear on the surface of back. A few minor scratches are on the front. It’s clean inside gate-fold. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip, stain & writing...OK.
DISC: Disc is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on Side A ( but none on Side B ). There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as “EX". No flaw on the groove of Side B.
OBI: G+, being torn in upper portion, with brown tape-stain marks on the top-rims of back & bottom-rim of front. A supply-tag in the top of back is stripped off ( missing ).
INSERT: Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead flaps are attached inside gate-fold cover.
INNER-BAG: VG, being creased with ring-crease on the surface of each side.
