Description: This is rare original Odeon copy ( released in 1966 ) of Beatles’ “Please Please Me”, coming with “ODEON ORIGINAL OBI”! This edition was issued to commemorate their Japan Tour. The cover is different from UK copy, while the disc is odeon red-wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead a colorful booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". It’s very hard to find this copy with obi & red-wax in any condition even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners & outer-edges. It’s scraped in places with light creases on the surface of outside. Ring-wear is on the back. The booklet inside gate-fold is lightly creased, and scraped with light ring-wear on the surface of each page. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip, stain & writing…OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs in places on Side A and some on Side B. There’re many spindle-marks on each label ( See photos ). Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "VG+”.

OBI: G, being creased on the surface of front, with the bottom-edge torn ( See photos ).

INSERT: INSERT is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover.

INNER-BAG: G+, being creased and lightly tanned for aging on the surface of each side. The top-flap is ragged on outer-edges in part.
