Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1968 ) of their masterpiece double-album. Both discs are rare red-waxes, issued only for its 1st press. "The Beatles" logo is embossed in lower portion of front-cover. Though an insert is missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red-wax even in my country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: G+/VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )


COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s stained with light scratches & ring-wear on each side ( See photos ). Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC 1: Disc 1 is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs including slight hairlines with a few light scratches ( inaudible ) on each side. There are some to many spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be “VG”.

DISC 2: Disc 2 is also good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs including slight hairlines in places on each side, with a light scratch at the start of Side A-1 ( inaudible ). There are some to many spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be “VG+”.

OBI: G+, being stained with brown spots on the surface of back. A supply-tag in the top of back is stripped off and missing.

INSERT: INSERT is missing.

POSTER: G+, being lightly creased and stained on the surface of each side for aging. No pin-hole is at corners. Folding creases are partly worn with short split.

PIN-UP: VG+ each / G+ ( John ), being lightly stained ( discolored ) on the surface of back, while being clean on the front each. John Lennon’s name is handwritten in Japanese on the back of John’s one.

INNER-BAGS: VG / G+ each, being creased with ring-crease on its surface of each side. One of them is split in the middle of right-edge, with the edge of die-cut circle partly ragged.
