Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1968 ) of their masterpiece double-album. Both discs are rare red-waxes, issued only for its 1st press. "The Beatles" logo is embossed in lower portion of front-cover. Though the insert is missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red wax even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: VG/EX-/EX ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )


COVER: Cover is good in condition, except for partly worn corners, right-edge & outer-edges. It’s lightly tanned and stained on the surface of each side. Light ring-wear is on the back & inside gate-fold. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC 1: Disc 1 is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on Side A and some on Side B. There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "EX-“.

DISC 2: Disc 2 is also is excellent in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on each side. There are several spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any scratch & hairline, which is to be rated as "EX“.

OBI: G, being wrinkled along the left-rim of back, while being lightly stained on the surface of back. It’s torn in the bottom-rim of back, and short in the middle and lower left-rim of back. The left-rim of “apple” is creased and discolored. Lower portion of front is lightly ripped.

INSERT: INSERT is missing.

POSTER: G, being aged, creased and stained with minor brown spots on the surface of each side. Folding creases are worn and partly split. But no pin-hole at corners.

PIN-UP: G ( Paul ), being stained with brown spots on the surface of back and white portion of front. Pin-hole is in each corner. / VG ( other 3 members ), still unused without pin-hole at corners. Brown spots are in part on the white portions.

INNER-BAGS: G+ each, being rippled with ring-crease on its surface of each side. One of them is torn short in the rim of round die-cut.
