Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1968 ) of their masterpiece double-album. Both discs are rare red-waxes, issued only for its 1st press. "The Beatles" logo is embossed in lower portion of front-cover. Though an insert is missing, it’s still hard to find this item with red-wax even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: G/VG/VG+ ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )


COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges. It’s lightly tanned, and stained with brown spots on the surface of each side. Light ring-wear with minor scrapes & scratches are on the surface of each side. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC 1: Disc 1 is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on each side, with several scratches ( hairlines ) on Side B ( not deep ). There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG“.

DISC 2: Disc 2 is also good in condition, keeping glossy. It has several slight scuffs on each side with a few to several slight scratches on Side A ( inaudible ). There are some spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any hairline, which is to be rated as “VG+”.

OBI: G, being torn in the bottom-rim of back. The surface of back is stained with brown spots, and partly creased. A supply-tag in the top of back is stripped off and missing. The right-rim of “apple” is creased.

INSERT: INSERT is missing.

POSTER: G, being aged, creased and stained with brown spots on the surface of each side. Folding creases are worn and partly split.

PIN-UP: VG+ ( all but John ) / G+ ( John ). White portions are lightly tanned on each side. Only John’s pin-up is stained with brown spots on the front.

INNER-BAGS: G+ each, being creased with light ring-crease on its surface of each side.
