Description: This is rare original Odeon copy ( released in 1966 ) of Beatles’ “Please Please Me” to commemorate their Japan Tour. The cover is different from UK copy, while the disc is odeon red-wax, issued only for its 1st press. Insert is not originally issued for this item. Instead 8 page colorful booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover to show "Japanese description", "English & Japanese lyrics" & "Colorful photos of their stage". Though obi & inner-bag are missing, it’s still hard to find this copy with red-wax in any condition even in my country nowadays. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.

Condition: G/VG ( Cover / Disc )


COVER: Cover is partly worn on the corners & outer-edges, with a short tear in the middle of top-edge. It’s scraped with ring-wear on the surface of outside. It’s stained inside gate-fold ( including each page of booklet ). The booklet inside gate-fold is aged & creased with stain-marks & minor writings. Otherwise it has no tear, dent, strip…OK.

DISC: Disc is good in condition, keeping glossy. It has slight scuffs in places on each side, with several light scratches on Side B ( inaudible ). There are many spindle-marks on each label. Otherwise it has none of any serious flaw ( such as deep scratch ), which is to be rated as "VG”.

OBI: OBI is missing.

INSERT: INSERT is not originally issued for this item. Instead a booklet is attached inside gate-fold cover.

INNER-BAG: INNER-BAG is missing.
