Appendices: "Original OBI”, “G/F Cover", "2 Inserts" & “Metal Sticker”

Description: This is scarce Japanese original copy ( released in 1988 ) of double live album of Deep Purple, comin' with complete appendices. Record companies in Japan were replacing vinyl with CD in 1988 ( and stopped issuing vinyl in 1989 ). So this album was issued in limited supply on Japanese vinyl in those days. That’s why this album with blue-obi rarely appears in the market.

What’s interesting is an enclosed “Metal Sticker”. It was officially issued by Polydor Japan in limited number only for some copies of this album. The sticker is hard metal, kept in a clear vinyl bag with a white sticker reading “NOT FOR SALE”. And “Polydor” logo is next to the texts, proving that it was officially issued. Anyway, it’s very hard to find this item with this sticker even in our country. Scarce item from Japan to serious collector.


Condition: EX+/NM/NM ( Cover / Disc 1/2 )


COVER: Cover is excellent in condition, except for lightly creased spine-edge. Some minor spots are on the left-rim of front and a few on upper portions of front & back. It’s clean inside gate-fold. Otherwise no tear, edge-wear, ring-wear, dent, strip & writing...OK.

DISC 1/2: Both discs are nearly TOP in condition, keeping glossy. Each disc has either none of a spindle-mark on each label. Otherwise each disc has none of any scuff, scratch & hairline, which can be rated as “NM". No flaw on the groove of both… very clean discs, we guarantee you.

OBI: EX-, being partly discolored on the top-rim of back.

INSERT: EX+ each.

STICKER: M ( still unused ), kept in a clear pvc bag.
